Be careful to lyme disease

Lyme disease is not contagious, so it can’t be transmitted from person to person. Here are some lyme disease symptoms:
• drowsiness
• headaches
• mild fever
• joint and muscle pains
• swollen lymph glands.
Spraying insect repellant containing DEET onto exposed skin can help. Wearing long pants tucked into boots and long sleeves can protect the skin. Clothing, children, and pets should be examined for ticks. Ticks can be removed gently with tweezers and saved in a jar for later identification. However, the severity and treatment of Lyme disease may be complicated due to late diagnosis, failure of antibiotic treatment, and simultaneous infection with other tick-borne diseases (coinfections), including ehrlichiosis, babesiosis, and immune suppression in the patient.
